"Coins" & "Nickels" Facts

01/11/10

The Indiana Extension Homemakers contributions to ACWW for International Coins for Friendship continue to show our support for our sisters in other countries.

It is so exciting to open the mail and see what comes from the heart of either an individual or a Extension Homemaker club, what was collected at a district meeting, and even the contributions from Home & Family Conference during a luncheon. A portion of your contributions has been sent to ACWW for their general projects fund; a contribution was sent to the Ruth B. Sayre Scholarship Fund, and a portion to four past IEHA State Presidents that serve and represent IEHA on boards with which we are affiliated.

Nickels for Indiana Leadership funds remain in our IEHA state organization. These funds help to pay for speakers at Home & Family Conference, District Representative training and representatives to NVON for the President and President-Elect to attend this conference.

Contributions for Coins for Friendship and Nickels for Indiana Leadership are welcome at any time, however, they must reach me by May 1st, 2010 to be included in this year's annual report at Home & Family Conference.

Thank you for your continued support in our reaching out to others by Leadership and those around the world that are truly benefited by our generosity.
